hello all, so today strip is brought to you by the awesomeness of me turning 30 years old yesterday (Feb. 2nd). i had an awesome birthday, thus justifying the lack of actually putting a joke into this strip. so because of my birthday i thought i’d celebrate by having a little contest (the first of this year). after you read the below instructions, forward this news to any and all you think would enjoy it. thanks

think of this contest like one of the new yorker magazine type strip contests. i have provided the art work, now you out there provide me with the text. contests starts ASAP and ends Wednesday Feb. 8th at 12:01am pst.
WHAT TO DO:
copy and paste the strip into an email or save image to your computer and attach it to an email with the subject line “doing daniel’s work for him”. in the email please write your ideas for the text (maximum 3 per person). below that please add your name (so i can give you credit if you win). please send all email entries to salcido.daniel@gmail.com
PRIZES:
1 awesome person will win a copy of the strip with their text on it, an original drawing of me thanking them signed by me and a copy of their favorite HOUSE of WINNERS strip of their choice
