Daniel Salcido has been writing, illustrating and self-publishing his own comics since 2000 and has done various other projects as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. Daniel Graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2004 with a bachelor’s in fine art. After which he has proceeded to aim for his dream of becoming a professional illustrator and cartoonist. Since 2002 he has had five nationally distributed comics (The Window, Junkie School Yard #1, Doodles of the Drunk #1, Doodles of the Drunk, Number One: The Second Coming and Moe) with more to come. Salcido has also been featured in two comic book anthologies (Cartoonist Conspiracy San Francisco: Comic Jam Anthology 1 and White Rabbit) as well as done merchindise, clothing and general design for various small and large clients, including @t Wear, Punkette and Murder By Death to name just a few. Salcido is currently trying his hardest to make his art his main source of income. “death to the day job” as one friend once told him. thank you and enjoy the site.
